I am a stay-at-home dad, raising my two girls under 4 as organically and free-ranged as possible. However, when I get a chance I like to make video games.
I love playing games, and I love making them, simply because they require so many different disciplines (especially on your own). As a hobbyist I get to learn so many new skills and explore a plethora of subjects, which makes game development so absorbing. However, finishing games and having something people could play can be challenging, and at times tedious.
So the primary aim of this blog is to; document my journey, publish some of my games, and hopefully provide some useful information for other game-makers.
With that, I’m off to make a game about keys for my 3 year old.
